Our Mission

Girls E-Mentorship is a top 100 rated charity offering a research-based mentorship program for high schoolgirls facing socioeconomic barriers to build their professional skills and achieve their academic and career potential.

"Self-doubt and fear of rejection is something I always struggled with. As a GEM mentee, I was able to overcome this fear and help myself grow in so many ways. GEM helped me realize we all are worth so much and that rejection is a step towards a new direction. Having my mentor as my cheerleader helped me view myself with more confidence as I take a leap into the future."

Maureen | GEMgirl, 2020-21 Cohort
During her time in the 2020-21 Cohort, Maureen was an Outreach Challenge winner and GEM Scholarship recipient. Maureen is currently completing a Bachelor's Degree in Life Sciences at McMaster University.
